Suspicious Death of 13-Month-Old Baby in Antalya: Family Negligence Claim

The 13-month-old baby, who was hospitalized with a high fever in Antalya, died shortly after being discharged from the hospital. Despite the intensive intervention of approximately 2.5 hours to the baby, who was taken back to the hospital and whose heart stopped, no results were obtained.

The baby’s family filed a criminal complaint with the judicial authorities on the grounds that incorrect medication was administered in the hospital and medical negligence was experienced. As part of the investigation into the incident, the baby’s death was recorded as a “suspicious death”.
