Life Imprisonment for Mother and Father Who Killed Their Child in Adana

The trial has been completed against the mother and father who shot and killed 15-year-old Rafet Dinç in his sleep with a gun in Adana’s Yüreğir district and then threw his body on the side of the road. The court sentenced the detained parents to life imprisonment for “intentional murder with intent against their descendants”.

This brutal act committed by the defendants, who were trying to clear the evidence of the crime after the incident, caused great outrage in the region. While the evidence and witness statements were carefully examined throughout the court process, the defendants’ attempts to get away with the crime were also taken as basis for the verdict.
