Harsh Criticism to the Vice President After the Nur Mektebi Scandal

The sending of Nur Mektebi Association President Uğur Akkafa to prison for allegedly making money with the money he collected under the name of the fund became a hot topic on the political agenda. Journalist Barış Terkoğlu harshly criticized the Vice President’s speech at a meeting attended by similar groups immediately after this corruption scandal.

It is claimed that Akkafa gained trust in society by giving moral lessons in public schools and made financial profit in the process.
