Clever Move from Countertop in Attempted Jewellery Robbery in Istanbul

The suspect, who entered a jewelry store in Istanbul with a weapon-like object, asked the clerk to fill the gold in a bag. The 20-year-old clerk, who was in the shop at the time, showed great calmness and filled 20 imitation bracelets in the bag and delivered them without the suspect noticing.

The suspect, who had moved away from the scene by taking fake gold, was caught in a short time as a result of the rapid follow-up of the police forces. In the examinations, it was revealed that the person lost the gold belonging to his family in virtual betting games and attempted this robbery in order to close the gap.
