President Erdogan Announces Equal Opportunities and Investments in Education

President Erdogan announced the investments made to ensure equal opportunities in higher education and to secure the educational rights of young people. Stating that they prioritize social justice, President Erdogan emphasized that the necessary steps were taken to prevent financial impossibilities from getting in the way of students’ dreams and starting life from behind.

Referring to the growth figures in educational infrastructure, the President announced that the number of universities in Turkey has increased from 76 to 208 and the number of dormitories from 190 to 877. With this move, it is aimed to meet both the academic and housing needs of students with a much wider network.
