Former French football player Christophe Dugarry reacted harshly to the plans for the legendary name Lionel Messi’s jubilee organization. In his criticism of the content of the organization, Dugarry stated that football players and fans on the African continent were not respected and directed his accusations directly at FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
Sharing his views on RMC Sport, Dugarry described the inclusion of African names in Messi’s farewell match as a “shame”. Drawing attention to the management style of the world’s most important football organizations, the former star argued that this situation was a systematic disrespect.
