Heavy Penalty for Driver Fleeing Alcohol Control in Bursa

During alcohol inspections in Bursa, the driver, who had abandoned his luxury vehicle in order to escape the control of the teams, was caught falling asleep in the bushes. The person who left his vehicle worth approximately 10 million TL at the scene was detained with the intervention of the police forces.

While the response of the arrested driver to the police was “I was sleeping, did I snore?”, police units imposed an administrative fine of 550,000 TL on the driver. It was also decided to confiscate the driver’s license by 2042.
