Marc Marquez has revived the championship race by achieving the impossible in the MotoGP world. The experienced driver, who made a spectacular return to the tracks after his severe injuries and two major operations, managed to reduce the difference between his success in Japan and the leader Jorge Martin to only 2 points.
The 33-year-old, who also outperformed Japan after the Brno, Sachsenring, Aragon and Misano stages, scored his sixth overall victory in the season. Marquez, who rose to 331 points in total, entered the most critical corner on the way to the championship.
